Donna Kelce, Travis’ mother, is not one of the ‘swifties’
Donna Kelce, currently known as Taylor Swift’s mother-in-law, admitted that she is not a fan of the singer: “My era was Earth, Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, things like that. That’s more my thing.” She is the mother of Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs player who is having an affair with Swift.
“But obviously talent is talent,” Donna said in an interview with People, to clarify her opinion. Still, she has her favorite song by her daughter-in-law: “I think it’s probably ‘Shake It Of.'”
The athlete’s mother has shared the crowd at City Chiefs games with Taylor and her friends, such as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. “I think everyone is a fan of certain people. I think at this point I’m just in a parallel universe and I’m allowed to be in it. That’s all I can say,” said Donna.
The matriarch of the Kelce family, she has to work hard to support her two children – she is also the mother of Jason, a Philadelphia Eagles player. Sometimes, she has to leave a match in the middle to be able to attend her other son’s game. “When I go to a game, I basically focus on what’s happening on the field, not what’s happening around me or in the living room,” she confessed.
