It is no secret that 2021 has in all probability been the hardest year for Ainhoa Arteta. The singer was infected with coronavirus and months later the consequences of the disease took her to need a wheelchair, although the worst came in August, when she suffered a severe generalized septicemia for which the doctors had to amputate some phalanges from her hand.
The soprano shows without complex the consequences of these health bumps, and has now shared with her more than 48,000 Instagram followers a unexpected reflection on her toughest year, to whom, despite all the bad, seems to be grateful.
Of course, although Arteta is aware that life continues despite the change in the year, she assures in the same publication that she will not be the same again after everything she’s been through.
“The one who has changed is me. I’ve grown up in the face of all adversity and I look at the face of the new year with strength and wanting to continue growing in her and with her. I wish you all the same energy to continue growing with life and in life in any year”, added the soprano.
In addition, Ainhoa Arteta has shown her thanks to all her loved ones, fans and followers who throughout this time have given her their support:
“I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have been with me, present and absent, from the depths of my soul, infusing me with energy and positivity every day. Here I continue and we will continue. I will not be able to name you all because it is impossible, but there you are in my soul, forever, family, cousins, children, uncles Puri and Sebas, cousin Luis, aita, abu.”
This is how the soprano said goodbye, celebrating that “God has given me the opportunity to live again.”
