The princess will not be able to accompany Prince Albert on the National Holiday today

Today Monaco celebrates its National Day. But, unlike previous years, it will not have the presence of the princess Charlene as she continues to recover from her health problems.

The expected photo of the entire Monegasque royal family from the balcony of the Palace will therefore not be produced. However, the former swimmer has wanted to show close to the Monegasques with a symbolic message on Instagram.

Charlene has published the video of a flag of the country waving and the wall has been quickly filled with messages of encouragement for the wife of Alberto II.

As Prince Albert himself confirmed a few hours ago, the mother of his two young children, twins Jacques and Gabrielle, is not in the Principality.

“She is better, but she still needs rest and peace. It is not in the Principality, but we will be able to visit it very soon. I cannot say more for discretion. There is fatigue, not only physical, that can only be treated with a period of rest and follow-up ”, he confessed in Monaco Morning.

The princess returned to the Principality on November 8 after staying in South Africa for six months. Charlene traveled there to tour the KwaZulu-Natal safari for philanthropic purposes. However, there she contracted an infection that led to several surgeries that prevented her return to Monaco.
