The Spanish artist Rosalía premiered this Friday her album “MOTOMAMI +”, an updated version of her album “MOTOMAMI” and which has 8 additional songs, including her acclaimed song “Despecha”.
“Thank Yu :)”, “LAX”, “LA KILIÉ”, “ISOLAMIENTO”, “CHIRI”, a recording of “LA FAMA” live from the Palau Sant Jordi (Barcelona) and a ‘remix’ of “CANDY” with the Puerto Rican Chencho Corleone are the 7 songs that have just made up this record work that, in total, has 24 tracks.
The singer from Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Catalonia, Spain) had been fueling rumors of the release of a new album during her world tour with “MOTOMAMI” and it was on September 3, during her concert in San Juan (Puerto Rico), when she confirmed the news.
Hours before the official release of this new album, now available on all digital platforms, Rosalía published the cover of the project on her social networks, which replicates the image of “MOTOMAMI” but with a red background instead of white and adding the sign ‘+’ on her popular biker helmet.
“Today at 0:00 for all my motomamis, for always being there and for singing the songs to you when they hadn’t even come out,” the artist wrote on her Instagram account.
Rosalía has been sharing fragments of these songs during the international tour of “MOTOMAMI” with which she will tour 46 cities spread over 15 countries and which will soon take her to North America, before ending in Europe with a final performance at the Accor Arena from Paris on December 18.
“MOTOMAMI” has recently been chosen as “Best Album of 2022” by media such as TIME, Rolling Stone or Billboard magazines and his song “Despecha” is one of the most played this summer on the Spotify platform.
In addition, Rosalía premiered last week her long-awaited collaboration with New Yorker Romeo Santos, entitled “El Pañuelo”, in which she demonstrates her ability to fuse flamenco sounds with bachata.
