The family has allocated the remaining funds from the ‘Survivors’ recharge lines to charities
With everything and with that, the Andalusian won the victory and the long-awaited check for 200,000 euros, previously awarded to singer Omar Montes. This is a good amount of money that will help stabilize the financial situation of the family, somewhat battered since the former Civil Guard lost his job in ‘Save me’.
In part, Olga Moreno owes her victory to the thousands of fans and followers who spent part of their money sending messages to make her a winner and free her from expulsion when she was nominated.
For years, it has been common for relatives of reality TV contestants to enable phone lines to recharge credit so that their admirers pay the amount they deem appropriate and thus help the idol win the show by sending text messages.
In this case, there were many who participated, to the point that there are funds left over for which the Flores family has wanted to give a charitable outing.
As Rocío Flores herself has stated through her social networks, the money left over from Olga Moreno’s recharge lines in ‘Survivors’ has been used to collaborate with associations that help neighbors affected by the eruption of the La Palma volcano and the Aladina Foundation, which works for children with cancer.
In addition, the daughter of Antonio David and Rocío Carrasco encouraged her more than 700,000 followers to participate with these philanthropic causes and contribute their much-needed grain of sand.
But, as always happens on social networks, not even with this good deed has she got rid of criticism. Apparently, Rocío Flores has received several anonymous messages that reproach her for having announced with great fanfare that she has collaborated with these charitable causes.
“People who donate do so from the heart and do not put it on social networks”, they have come to tell her. The young woman explained that the reason why she published the destination that has been given to these funds from Olga Moreno’s recharge lines is none other than that part of that money was not hers, but of “people I do not know and who you deserve to know that this money is being donated.”
It never rains to everyone’s liking.
