Early Life
Joanne Connell and Paulie Connell were together before 2000 and on November 5, 2001 they had their first child, Kameron.
Recalling the day Kameron was born, Paulie said that when he entered this world, he made a “grand entrance” and “being a first-time parent at the time,” he wasn’t sure what to do. But “so far it’s been an amazing journey watching you grow as you help others mature and grow as well,” he added. “You are a kind, level-headed, intelligent young man who makes your mom and dad very proud, while your brother is an incredible role model.”

Brooklyn is now 17 years old (2023). She grew up to be “a beautiful soul and a good little girl, the best any parent could ask for,” Paulie said. Last we saw of the father-son duo, Paulie was teaching them how to drive. In addition, they both enjoyed playing golf and visiting Japanese restaurants.
As for Kameron, Paulie is proud of his accomplishments and his kindness. “Watching you grow over the years and seeing you become the man you are becoming, gives me more reason to be happier every day,” Paulie wrote in the post. “You have become a good role model to your little brother and a good mentor to the young men around you, stay positive, stay strong and always know I will have your back, love dad.

The former couple appears to have filed for divorce just before Valentine’s Day on February 4, 2020. Reportedly, their most recent filing was in October 2020, which was a Judicial Reintervention Request (JRI). That means that his report has not yet been assigned to a judge.
Unfortunately, divorces in New York are sealed. So I don’t have a lot of information about what was going on.
But according to Paul, he was in no hurry to file for divorce because he wasn’t getting married anytime soon. “There was really no need for me to get divorced, it’s not like I’m getting married or marrying people for fun,” he said. “So it never really happened to her or me. We’re pretty comfortable.”
However, things between him and Dolores got serious in 2023. “Okay, now it’s time to close that chapter,” he said. “And that’s it. There’s really nothing else.”
He continued, “I’m very happily separated and soon to be happily divorced. It’s very simple to understand. We’re not divorced, we’re getting divorced. We never had a big misunderstanding to the point of ‘I hate you, you hate me.’ It was never like that, it was never like that.”
The ex-husband definitely parted amicably and Joanne was “very happy” for her ex-husband and Dolores. “(Joanne) is very happy for her and Dolores and thinks it’s wonderful to have found happiness and what comes with it,” Paulie explained, “She and Dolores understand each other very well.”
