Larissa Manoela said that the support of her fiancé and therapy sessions helped her to start the financial reviews that her parents had about her money
Actress and singer Larissa Manoela revealed in an interview with Glamour magazine that she doesn’t keep in touch with her parents after the controversies involving her money management became public in August.
According to the artist, she is “starting over in a positive way, with a support network, with the backing of the public and the reciprocal exchange”.
“I feel brave and focused, as always, on a future that awaits me with great things,” she said.
The actress emphasized that she had always sought autonomy and that she wanted to have a say in her professional career.
“Since I was 18, I felt that I needed to recalculate the route in a way that would be beneficial to me, that I would learn from the process, but without everything that had been done coming to light. Unfortunately, a lot was out of my control and I had to accept it, rethinking it so that I could continue on my way,” she shared.

During the conversation, Larissa Manoela revealed that her fiancé, actor André Luiz Frambach, friends and therapy sessions helped her see a world “outside the box”.
“I’m not going to lie, he [André] was a driving force and my support, but this story isn’t about him. Along with that, there was a movement of people around me. I had essential support from my friends and those who were close to me. I also always took care of myself mentally; my therapy sessions were intensified,” she revealed.
Asked if she keeps in touch with her parents, the artist stressed that at the moment she has chosen who her family is because “the break-up was big” and that previously there was no lack of searching or dialog to try to understand what was happening.
“Today, I have the family I chose, who are my friends, close people. We often talk about this family thing, which is blood, right? And, in fact, we belong to this universe that God sent us. But at the moment, I have zero contact with my blood family and I think that’s because everything happened this way,” she revealed.
