Just a few days ago we were able to see Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin enjoy their first vacation together in Baqueira Beret after five years.
According to the magazine Hola exclusively, the former Dukes of Palma spent Christmas week in the Catalan Pyrenees, as in the past, with their four children: Juan Valentín, Pablo Nicolás, Irene and Miguel.
The last time they spent winter holidays together in this exclusive ski resort was in 2016, shortly before the former handball player was sentenced to six years and three months in prison for his role in the Nóos case.
Now, after five years, this is the first time that they were immortalized enjoying a few days of rest as a family, practicing one of their favorite sports.
And it is that these have been the first Christmases since Iñaki Urdangarin obtained the third prison degree and with it the long-awaited semi-freedom that allows him to move hardly without restrictions throughout the country.
After a few days in the snow, and demonstrating their union with the Urdangarin family, the former dukes of Palma and their four children, Juan Valentín, Pablo, Miguel and Irene headed to Vitoria to say goodbye to 2021 and welcome the New Year with the family of the former handball player, showing off the good relationship they maintain.
As published by Europa Press, shortly after the Infanta set course for Madrid where this Sunday she ate at the Palacio de la Zarzuela with the Infanta Elena and her mother, Reina Sofía.
Although the sisters were scheduled to travel to Abu Dhabi these days to celebrate with King Juan Carlos his 84th birthday. Finally, the monarch’s daughters have canceled their visit, although the reason for this unexpected decision has not been revealed.
