While the couple rarely publish photos of their children, a few days ago, Gerard Piqué shared a selfie with the children through Instagram. “The Three Musketeers,” he captioned the photo of the three wearing matching white T-shirts.
Shakira previously spoke about the “harsh” reality of being a working mother for her children during an interview with Viva magazine in September 2019.
“Sometimes you can’t see your children for a month or even longer,” she told the outlet at that moment. “It is very difficult. But we call each other through FaceTime, so we are constantly in communication, that helps.”
She continued: “(Piqué and I) do not have a written agreement to share household chores, we are both very involved in raising children. We support each other and also find great help in our families. We don’t know a different way to do it!”
The artist has been in a relationship with the soccer player since 2011, before welcoming her children in 2013 and 2015, respectively. She previously joked about expanding her family and creating her “own soccer team”, before the birth of her son Sasha.
“If it weren’t for my musical projects, I’d already be pregnant,” she told Latina magazine in March 2014. “I would love to have eight or nine children with Gerard.”
