Chiquis expressed some spectacular words to her younger brother, whom she cared for like a son since he was very young.
Chiquis Rivera has made it clear over the years that the most important thing for her is her family, especially after the passing of her mother, Jenni Rivera. The singer never wastes time to let her siblings know how much she loves them and show them, so for the birthday of her youngest brother, Johnny, she dedicated a spectacular message to him on social media.
“I’m never going to forget the day mommy put you in my arms and said ‘Take your son. Mommy has to go back to work and you have to take care of everything [at home].’ You were just six months old. That day changed my life forever, changed it for the better. Today is your 22nd birthday and I can’t stop expressing how proud I am of the young man you have become despite all the pain and adversity you have had to face in the short time you have been on this Earth,” the American began writing in a publication in which she shared several photographs with him.
“Thank you for your endless support. You have been there since day one cheering me on. You believed in me before I believed in myself. Thank you. Thank you. I will never forget. I’ll never forget all the Target, Game Stop, ArcLight and Yamato runs we did together hahaha…or all the times you would call me while I was out with my friends saying you wanted me home because you missed me and didn’t want to be alone, and I would go home…just to see you smile,” she continued.
According to Chiquis, her brother Johnny will always remain her “baby” and promised to continue to be there for him at all times.
“You will always be my baby, my little life partner…the one who saved me. i love you, Johnny Angel! Cheers to another year around the Sun. You have this thing called life…and as long as I’m here, I’ll go with you,” she expressed to him.
