The actresses who were the most popular of the 90’s got together again and reminisced about the magazine covers they starred in some 30 years ago.
Kim Kardashian is very happy with her clothing brand Skims. For this new campaign, the socialite hired two of the most popular models of the 90s: Carmen Electra and Jenny McCarthy. The also 50-year-old actresses enjoyed this moment and sheathed in the brand’s bikinis, the photo shoot was as suggestive as the covers they starred in some 30 years ago.
“This fun campaign celebrates the impact these women had on pop culture and their timeless appeal, reminding the world that confidence and sensuality cannot be limited. Electra and McCarthy capturing the essence of a hot, sizzling summer,” reads the brand’s official statement.

Through her social networks, McCarthy expressed her happiness for working again with her friend: “The energy on set was incredible, especially shooting with Carmen, who looks spectacular! It felt like we were in the ’90s, and years later we’re still having fun!”.
For her part, Electra assured that she had a very fun time during the campaign. “Meeting Jenny for this Skims campaign was a great dream. Not only does she look amazing, she also brought the best energy to the set and was my biggest cheerleader. I’m so happy that we got to share this iconic moment together,” he added.
In the campaign for Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand, Electra and McCarthy posed with a red Ferrari in a very sensual way and pretending to wash the car. Other images they shared, showed suggestive photos in which they are seen eating melted ice cream and posing with electric guitars.
It is worth remembering that, the previous Skim campaign was directed by Harmony Korine where Kim was the protagonist and was accompanied by suggestive “aliens” in bikinis. At the time, they revealed that the season was inspired by an “out-of-this-world vacation”.
Carmen Electra and Jenny McCarthy were both former Playboy models and worked together in the reality host’s scripted film, ‘Supergirls’ (2005).
The 51-year-old actress rose to fame for her role in the ‘Baywatch’ series, as did Pamela Anderson. And in the case of Jenny McCarthy, she decided to focus more on her career as a model before taking on roles in comedies and movies. Both actresses participated in the ‘Scary Movie’ saga; however, they never managed to match each other.
