Bruno Mars was in the country for a concert when Hamas launched an attack

Bruno Mars has finally managed to leave Israel after moments of terror. The singer was in Tel Aviv, where he was due to play a concert on Saturday 7th, when the armed Islamic movement, Hamas, carried out a surprise attack.

Bruno Mars and his team – around 60 people – left the country for Athens, Greece, according to information released by a Bruno Mars fan club. The cancellation of the performance in Israel had been announced by Live Nation, which was responsible for organizing the event.

“Dear customers, the Bruno Mars concert scheduled to take place tonight has been canceled. All ticket purchases for the concert will receive an automatic refund to the credit card through which the purchase was made. We strengthen the residents of Israel, IDF fighters and the security forces in these difficult times,” the statement said.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel is in a state of war, called an emergency meeting to discuss the country’s security and began operation “Iron Swords.”
