The Californian actress Alicia Silverstone undressed, as part of a campaign to support the defense of animal life promoted by the organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and only decided to pose with some vegan leather cowboy boots.
The vegan blonde since she was 21 years old posed nude in a photo shoot to warn about the use of fur in fashion, a “fact that kills animals”.
“Sensational Alicia Silverstone is breaking it all down to expose the facts: Leather made from cows kills animals and the planet,” PETA says.
ANIMAL SKIN IS NOT IN FASHION
In the image, shared by PETA, the actress appears only with a pair of synthetic fur boots.
“If it is necessary for me to get naked for you to care about the animals, then I’m going to do it, because that’s what I’m looking for,” she is heard saying in the official clip of the campaign.
“I’d rather go nude than use animals,” adds Silverstone.
The actress promotes in the campaign that people wear vegan versions of leather. “Cruelty is a choice. When you shop, you can make a difference and help reduce the number of animals killed for fashion by choosing one of the many innovative and sustainable vegan leather materials available, including mushroom, apple, and cactus leather,” explains PETA.
