PBNU Chairman: Fight Nation-Breaking Provocateurs are our Common Enemies

Chairman of the PBNU, Prof. Dr. KH Said Aqil Siroj, gave a statement on Monday (16/11/2020). Ketum invited to fight against the provocateurs who divided the nation. Whoever and from any party, the provocateur is an enemy of the nation, a common enemy of the citizens of the Republic of Indonesia.

This was conveyed by KH Said Aqil Siroj, as well as the General Chair of the Nahdlatul Ulama as well as the Head of Friendship of Islamic Organizations and National Religious Mass Organizations. He said he gave this appeal to all Indonesian people, NKRI, especially Muslims.

“There is an agenda to destroy the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said.

Kiai emphasized that the community should take care of what our Founding Fathers had fought for. That is, a national state that is united under the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, across religions, across cultures, across ethnicities, across civilizations.

“Let’s take care of it and take care of it, don’t let us welcome 100 years of the Republic of Indonesia, we are weak and even lax in caring for this NKRI,” he said.

According to Kiai, once again, anything or anyone who wants to do negative things to disturb the unity of the Republic of Indonesia, let’s face it, opponent. Because it is an enemy of the nation, our common enemy. From any party on any behalf.

“Let us take care of it and we love NKRI with the spirit of ukhuwah wathaniyah solidarity as countrymen, thank you,” he concluded.
