Residents of the United States will move their clocks forward an hour very soon as they will begin to feel daylight periods getting longer each day.

In the United States, the period with the most light during the day (known as the summer period) extends for 34 weeks, from early or mid-March to November in the states that observe it, according to NBC 5 Chicago.

THE SUMMER PERIOD WILL BEGIN, WHICH HAS MORE LIGHT DURING THE DAY

But when will clocks go forward an hour?

It will be on March 13 at 2 am ET, more than a week after the official start of spring, and will end on November 6. The only ones that do not change the time are Hawaii and Arizona.

Under the conditions of the Energy Policies Act of 2005, the summer period begins in the second week of March and ends the first Sunday in November, which represents an extension considering the previous years.
