NEW YORK (AP) – Sen. Josh Hawley landed a new publisher for his book after Simon & Schuster canceled plans to publish it following the assault on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of President Donald Trump.

Conservative editor Regnery announced Monday that “The Tyranny of Big Tech” will be released this spring.

“Regnery is proud to fill the vacancy and support him. And the warning in his book on censorship obviously couldn’t be more urgent, “Regnery president and publisher Thomas Spence said in a statement.

Hawley, a Republican from Missouri, has been widely criticized for his support for the Jan. 6 protest that ended in a violent riot inside the Capitol. Thousands had gathered that day as Congress voted to formally certify Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election. Hawley and Texas Senator Ted Cruz, also the author of Regnery, led the objections against Biden’s Senate victory, citing unsubstantiated arguments that the election was stolen.
