TRIBUTES have flooded social media after popular Atlanta rapper Lil Keed was revealed to have died aged 24, and his pregnant girlfriend left a heartwarming message on Instagram.

Lil Keed, whose real name is Raqhid Jevon Render, died on Saturday, May 14, leaving behind thousands upon thousands of mourning fans, friends and family. However, the loss was particularly painful for the young rapper’s pregnant girlfriend, Quana Bandz, and her three-year-old son, Naychur.

On Instagram, Ms. Bandz paid tribute to her boyfriend and the father-to-be of her baby through several videos and a lengthy post.

“I love you so much baby,” she wrote in the hours after his death.

“I can’t breathe well, sleep well. What am I supposed to tell Naychur? What am I going to tell our new baby? Keed, I just told you the other day that if you left me with these two kids I was going to lose my mind, my mind is lost, baby. Please tell me this is a dream. Come home.”

She continued, “YOU GAVE ME THE WORLDDDDDDDDD. Everything I wanted. I needed you to get, you did it for me no questions asked! Who went to rub my belly? RAQHID WHY DO YOU LEAVE ME MAN. You were my boyfriend, my best friend, my slime, my twin, my ride or die!”

Several publications in the US report that Keed died from health-related issues, although nothing has been made official.

In a social media post, Lil Gotit revealed that his brother, Lil Keed, had died. The cause of death is currently unknown.Gotit said, “I can’t believe I saw you die today, brother. I did all my screaming. I know what you want me to do and that’s hard for Mama Daddy, our brothers Naychur and Whiteboy.”

The artist was part of the group YSL (Young Stoner Life) of fellow rapper Young Thug.

On May 9 of 2022, 28 people associated with YSL, including founder Young Thug and rapper Gunna, were charged in a 56-count indictment under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

Following a search of his home, Thug was charged with an additional 7 felonies related to possession of illegal substances and illegal firearms.

Lil Keed was not arrested as part of the gang-related charges.

This was noted by people on Twitter after the announcement of the death of the young star.

“You expect me to believe that the young thug gets arrested, and then his artist Lil Keed dies 2 days later, as a coincidence. You’re crazy,” one person wrote on Twitter.

Another said: “It can’t be a coincidence that Lil Keed dies days after most of YSL was arrested.”

One person wrote: “As if Lil Keed is dead now that Thug nem locked up. that can’t be a coincidence.

Another person on Twitter said, “YSL getting RICO and Lil Keed passing away in 72 hours can’t be a coincidence.”

“It’s crazy how Young Thug lost his baby mama, his freedom and Lil Keed in a matter of months, prayers for YSL,” said one fan.

Other rappers, artists, and musicians also paid tribute to Keed.

Russ Diemon wrote: “Damn RIP Lil Keed”.

“RIP Lil Keed. Man, the music world needs some good news,” said Noah Miller.

No Shag Life said: “Wtf Lil Keed died. Life is too short a hair.

One fan wrote, “Lil Keed was only 24 years old. These young people drop like flies and it’s really sad.”

“Yes, I get depressed when artists die. No, I never met them in real life, but that music makes you feel that connection. I want to see everyone do well and be successful, so when news like this comes out, it breaks my heart. Rest Lil Keed and pray for all your people,” another fan wrote.

Keed released his latest album Trapped on Cleveland 3 in 2020, which was praised by fans on social media.

“Stuck in Cleveland 3 wasn’t talked about enough. Arguably the most underrated album of 2020. RIP, Lil Keed,” one person wrote.
