Supporters of the impeachment of Governor Gavin Newsom made an appearance during President Joe Biden’s tour of Long Beach.
More than 300 people, many of them Latinas, gathered in Long Beach to protest during President Joe Biden’s visit, which came to California as a sign of support for Governor Gavin Newsom who is hours away from the close of the elections in which will define your political future.
With posters and flags of ‘Trump’, the former president’s supporters shouted without masks that ‘they have violated our rights.’
“Biden has blood on his hands and he must pay for the death of our soldiers,” shouted Margarita Salinas, with a portable loudspeaker, referring to the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
Grandparents holding their grandchildren taunted Newsom supporters as they lined up to enter the invitation-only rally.
“It’s my life, it’s my body and I won’t send my children to school with those stupid masks that just won’t let them breathe,” yelled a Latina woman wearing an American flag as a dress.
“Gavin is Biden’s puppet! Trump won the election,” shouted a group of people.
Dozens of police officers made an appearance and made sure to maintain a defense line in the street to avoid confrontations by antagonistic groups.
Opponents of vaccines and masks, many carried posters assuring that the pandemic does not exist and that everything is a plot to achieve control of the masses.
“This is America – the America of 2021 of the Disunited States,” said Juan Martínez, speaking behind his mask as sweat trickled down his cheeks.
