The merger of the company, which has decided to establish its headquarters in the Netherlands, although it will be listed on the Paris, Milan and New York Stock Exchanges, was formalized last Saturday.
In Paris, their titles started the session clearly on the rise. Stellantis rose in the first exchanges to 13 euros per share. At 9.15 am, it was trading at 12.90 euros, which meant a rise of 2.63% and a capitalization of more than 40.2 billion euros.
Stellantis is the fourth world car manufacturer by sales volume and the third by turnover with the 2019 figures (167,000 million euros).
Tavares, as CEO, will offer a virtual press conference this Tuesday to discuss the objectives and challenges of the company.
Together with the board of directors, the company has since Monday an audit committee, a remuneration committee and a governance and sustainability committee.
