As per The NY Journal, according to the results of a new poll presented by Piplsay, at least 46% of Americans would support a presidential race for Dwayne.
In addition to ‘The Rock’, the poll asked them to assess whether other celebrities should run for president and Angelina Jolie was supported by 30%, with 27% supporting Oprah Winfrey and another 22% supporting Tom Hanks.
The online poll ran from April 2 to April 4 and included just over 30,000 potential voters for their thoughts on celebrities who may be interested in politics.
A few months ago, the Hollywood star and prominent fighter revealed his interest in occupying the position of president of the United States in the future.
For an interview, Johnson revealed that he aspires to be in the great seat of the White House, if the people want it: “I would consider a presidential race in the future if that is what the people want. In truth, I mean it and I am not flippant in any way with my answer. That would depend on the people. So I would wait and listen, ”he said.

Similarly, the renowned American actor Will Smith looks set to join the list of celebrities who want to hold public office and venture into politics. It was the Hollywood star himself who launched the possibility of venturing into this type of project in the future.
In an interview that the protagonist of “The Prince of Rap” gave to the presenter of the podcast “Pod Save America”, he was questioned if he thought to limit himself only to his artistic career or has he ever thought of entering politics, as many of his colleagues did.
Will Smith replied that he will wait until “the offices are clean” to contemplate the possibility if he enters politics, referring to the departure of Donald Trump from the White House.
