Since its launch in late 2016, the title fight held by Namco Bandai y Dimps Corporation, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, aims to keep its content fresh, in order to keep fans of the franchise close. In this context, just a few weeks ago, the arrival of Paikuhan as a playable character, who will now be added Toppo. These new fighters will arrive via Update Pack 12, which is scheduled to arrive in March.

Like all the games made based on the franchise created by Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has a large number of fans, who always enjoy the battles between the most iconic characters in the series, as is the case with Goku, Vegetta, Trunks and company. This is why their games tend to have a lot of life on platforms, as is the case with this 2016 Namco Bandai production.

As stated by the medium Gematsu, new fighter announced for the title is none other than Toppo, known for his participation in the latest saga of the franchise: Dragon Ball Super. Known as the warrior of freedom, this character also has the role of leader of the pride troops in the series, who aim to protect peace throughout the universe in which Goku lives.

Although the media did not indicate the characteristics it will have Toppo in combat, he is likely to be a powerful fighter, considering the abilities he has in the anime. It is worth remembering his great fight against Goku in the exhibition tournament before the eyes of Bills and Wiss, where he displayed his techniques. These, as far as it was known, are based on martial arts, emphasizing submission and grip, among other things.

In turn, one of the most interesting characteristics that Toppo demonstrated in the anime, and that will surely be reflected in the game, is that of being able to increase his power, in a similar way to what Master Roshi did. This he does through a concentration that allows him to gather his aura, which is red, to direct it before his opponent.

The arrival of Toppo adds to that of Paikuhan, which was announced in mid-December of last year. This character, who made his debut years ago in Dragon Ball Z, is remembered for his participation in the other world martial arts tournament, where together with Goku he defeated all the rebels from hell. Among his abilities, you can enjoy a particular way of moving and also the wave of ki that could be seen in the anime.

Both characters will arrive in Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse in the context of its twelfth update, which is scheduled to be released in mid-March. This will not only incorporate these two fighters, but it will also introduce new missions in expert mode and new costumes for Bardock and Gine, which were taken from one of the last films of the franchise: Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

For the moment, Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse 2, Namco Bandai’s game that has already sold more than 7 million copies, can be purchased for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and the portable Nintendo Switch.. In turn, through backward compatibility, it can also be achieved for next gen consoles: Xbox Series X/S y PS5.
