The Indonesian Ministry of Health has reported 14,224 new coronavirus infections this Saturday, a daily historical record, with which the country accumulates 896,642 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.
The bulletin also includes 283 new deaths and a total of 25,767 deaths. There are also 8,662 new hospital discharges, for a total of 727,358.
The virus has been detected in the 34 provinces of the country and in the last 24 hours the new infections have been 3,536 in Jakarta, 3,460 in West Java, 1,997 in Central Java, 1,160 in East Java and 659 in South Sulawesi.
The country is in full ascending epidemiological curve after registering a curious graph of practically linear growth since April 2020, without clearly perceptible waves.
