Coronavirus in Mexico: 19,244 new cases and 1,007 deaths were registered in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health (SSa), through its evening information exercise, reported the progress of the pandemic of COVID-19 in Mexico until this Monday, January 18, where a total of 1,649,502 cumulative confirmed cases and 141,248 deaths.

This means that in 24 hours, 19,244 new cases and 1,007 deaths were added directly related to SARS-CoV-2, which arrived in Mexico in February last year to the national capital and from there it spread throughout the republic.
