Claudia Villafañe was crowned champion of Masterchef Celebrity and dedicated her award “to those who are not there”

This Monday, the first edition of Masterchef Celebrity came to an end and the winner was known: Claudia Villafañe beat Analía Franchín and he took the precious trophy and a cash sum of one million pesos.

After three months of intense competition and with a loyal audience that made it a success, the gastronomic reality show of Telefé had its last gala. After 10:15 p.m., Santiago Del Moro gave the introduction to an evening full of emotion and gave the floor to the jury made up of German Martitegui, Damien Betular and Donato De Santis, who were happy to have participated in the cycle. Then, and to the surprise of all those present in the study, several former participants of the contest entered, among them, Sofía Pachano, El Polaco, Vicky Xipolitakis, Fede Bal, Roberto Moldavsky, Boy Olmi and the Turk Garcia.

However, the excitement took over the program when the relatives of the finalists entered, who were moved by surprise. On Analía’s side, her son and mother were present, and on Claudia’s side, Dalma and Gianinna Maradona They did not want to miss this milestone in their mother’s life.

However, there was no time for the emotional climate, as the jury immediately ordered them to fulfill the task: they had to prepare in 90 minutes a starter, a main course and a dessert worthy of a first-rate restaurant. Although at first they were given three minutes to go to pick up the ingredients in the market, then the chefs informed them that they could return as many times as they wanted.

Then, both the ex of Diego Maradona like the ex of Guillermo Coppola they defined what their dishes were going to be. On the Analia side, the starter was a portobellos carpaccio, the main dish a grilled octopus and the dessert, roasted peach with orange syrup, homemade ricotta and walnut praline. Claudia, for her part, showed off a burrata with candied tomatoes, strawberries and vanilla vinaigrette as a starter; For the main course he chose a pork tenderloin wrapped in rabbit and bacon, and for dessert, a creamy white chocolate with banana ice cream.

Both were highly praised by the jury, whose members acknowledged having a difficult task in choosing the winner. “It is from a restaurant that I would recommend to people to return,” Martitegui told Analía. Damián Betular, for his part, also praised Claudia: “When simplicity is perfectly done, this happens,” he said.

In an exciting definition, the jury had to make the final decision, despite the fact that the three chefs would have preferred a draw. The person in charge of announcing the champion was Martitegui: “The winner of Masterchef is … Tata,” he said to the joy of all present. Excited, Claudia said some moving words: “There is a lack of people that I would like to be here, like my grandson Benjamin, who is with his father and Roma, who his father does not want to be shown on television. My mother, who is in poor health, and the father of my daughters who is not there, and my friends ”. And closed: “I am very grateful and happy”
