LONDON, Jan 18 (Reuters) – More than 20 seafood trucks parked on Monday in streets near 10 Downing Street and the British Parliament in central London, protesting the post-Brexit bureaucracy, which has halted their operations. exports to the European Union.

“Prime Minister Boris Johnson has to be honest with us, with himself and with the British people about the problems in the industry,” Hodgson told Reuters.

Hodgson said it had canceled several trucks since December due to the onerous red tape involved in exporting to the EU. He said an operator needed 400 pages of export documentation last week to board a ferry to the EU.
