AMLO confirmed that the Servants of the Nation of the brigades will also be vaccinated against COVID-19

The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, clarified that, in addition to health workers and brigadistas, the nation’s servers that are part of the vaccination brigades will also be vaccinated against COVID-19.

The president recalled that these gangs are made up of 10 elements: four from the Armed Forces, four promoters (two servants from the nation and two from other agencies) and two from the health sector. He added that the volunteers will also be vaccinated when they join.

“We are preparing: there will be 10,000 brigades. Now there are a thousand brigades. The first stage has already been completed and the vaccine that arrived and was sent to hospitals in the health sector that have COVID was finished, ”he said.

On the other hand, announced that the batch of 400 thousand doses of Pfizer that would arrive tomorrow, January 19, will be limited to half, this after the UN demanded more deliveries from the agency to offer them to countries with fewer resources. However, the Mexican president assured that Mexico is in the process of receiving batches from other pharmaceutical companies such as Sputnik V, CanSino and Astra Zeneca.
