Call of Duty: Warzone is currently suffering from massive problems. Two of the most serious are now being tackled with the latest patch: The infamous “Infinite Stim Glitch” and (for the second time) the overpowering DMR-14. Here you can find out everything about the changes.

The most important information about the new Warzone patch

Fixed Infinite Stim Glitch

Season 1 brought back a bug to Warzone that had actually already been fixed: The “Infinite Stim Glitch”. We already reported about the fatal consequences of the mistake in the game, but here is a compact summary.

The stim glitch allowed players to take advantage of an exploit to heal yourself infinitely often and for a long time. The result: players could, for example, safely stroll through the actually deadly gas on the map and thus cheat themselves to a decisive advantage.

With the latest patch, this problem is a thing of the past (again) – and it is to be hoped that it will remain so. This game scene shows what the exploit looks like in action:

(Second) Nerf for the DMR-14

Another problem that the latest Warzone patch addresses is the overpowering DMR-14: The precision rifle has met with criticism from many players in the past few weeks and has already been nerfed as part of a balance update – but that didn’t go far enough .

With the right loadout, the DMR-14 had almost no recoil, while the damage was so great that two hits were often enough for one shot. Since the last balance update only screwed down the headshot damage, other problems of the DMR-14 remained.

The DMR-14 from Black Ops: Cold War has been one of the most powerful weapons in Warzone so far. How the sniper rifle will perform after the latest patch will only show with time. But now the new patch attacks almost all stats of the sniper rifle: The general damage of the DMR-14 has been drastically reduced, while the recoil is much more noticeable after several shots are fired. In addition, the headshot damage was again screwed down, while body damage is no longer quite as serious.

Overall, a mistake seems to have been to blame for the superior power of the DMR-14: The precision rifle probably dealt damage on the order of a sniper rifle and not an assault rifle. The latest Warzone patch has also addressed this bug.
