The awards season is in full swing and just a few days ago the Spanish Academy of Cinema decided which films and actors deserve the highest audiovisual award in our country. Last night the British Academy did the same with its popular Bafta Awardawards that serve, more and more, as a prelude to the emblematic Oscars and which give us some clues as to which films could win the golden statuette.
The 2023 BAFTAs made one thing clear: No news at the front It has been a favorite of academics. This Edward Berger film won seven awards, including “Best Film” and “Best Director”.
In addition, the British awards gave Kate Blanchett and Austin Butler a new boost in their Oscar careers, as both, also nominated for the American awards, were named “Best Actress” and “Best Actor” of the year. 2022.
For its part Avatar: the sense of water won the award for “Best Special Effects” and all at once everywhereone of the great favorites of the edition, only managed to win the prize for ‘Best editing’.
