The program of the anthill Wednesday evening on Antena 3 was the most commented. Pablo Motos received Georgina Rodríguez on his set for the first time and although his questioning remarks sparked a wave of criticism on social networks, it was not the highlight of the evening.
The program seemed promising with the mere presence of Georgina, who had come as an amateur to the ants’ entertainment space; but everything went a bit wrong when Motos and his guest left the Trancas y Barrancas table to go to the experimentation part.

He scientific team the anthill wanted to pay tribute, something special dedicated to the influencer, who this Friday presents the second season of I am Georgina (Netflix). For this reason, they gave the couple of Cristiano Ronaldo a very exclusive gift, to match their eccentric gifts: Diamonds.

Led by Laura Domínguez, diamond expert and gemologist and co-founder of Condé de Diamante, they showed Georgina, a big fan of jewelry, several of its most unique specimenslike an orange diamond worth about $22,000.
They also showed a blue diamond, which is said to be worth more than 418,000 euros; a rose, the value of which exceeds 1,057,000 euros and another color Greenwith numbers that exceed 2.2 million euros. On the latter, the expert added another highlight: “It weighs 2.17 carats.”
Nothing to do, yes, with the 9-carat jewel that Georgina Rodríguez wore adorning one of her fingers, although that was not all.
“We’ll hammer a $5,000 diamond. We are very stupid and we have come up against this because when you do this everyone dies of tension, but since it is the hardest thing there is…”, began by saying Pablo Motos.
In fact, this is one of the characteristics that Domínguez highlighted, the hardness of diamonds: “Its resistance to scratching, not breaking, which belongs to the scale of toughness. It’s the hardest, but at the same time it’s very fragile“.
Before proceeding with the test, the presenter had already anticipated his state of nerves and all that was at stake: “I am scared”. A few words that corresponded perfectly to what happened a few seconds later.
Upon hitting the small diamond with a hammer, it shattered into pieces. “I hit him very hard”Domínguez lamented hastily.
“I can’t believe it, this really didn’t have to happen, It got out of hand ’cause we hit it where we shouldn’t. It’s like that the anthillsometimes we are wrong, but hey”, commented Pablo Motos visibly embarrassed.
