NEW YORK – Authorities are searching for a suspect in the execution-style murder of a man inside a Manhattan tobacco store, New York police said. The suspect fired several bullets into the victim’s head.
According to the police report, the shooting occurred around 7:48 p.m. on Sunday when the alleged shooter argued with the victim, a 36-year-old man, inside the business at 304 Avenue Lenox, in Harlem. As the victim left the scene, the suspect shot him several times, hitting him in the head.
But that was not enough. As the victim fell to the ground from the impact of the bullets, the suspect fired a second bullet into the victim’s head, police said. Then he flees.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
