NEW JERSEY — Three members of a family have died after a father shot and killed his wife and son before turning the gun on himself, law enforcement sources tell Our Sister Network. NBC New York.
Roxbury Township Police attended a home along Justine Place in the Succasunna district on Tuesday morning for a wellness check. Once inside, officers found the three bodies.
Those killed have not yet been identified, but sources said News 4 that he was a father who shot his wife and teenage son before committing suicide.
Authorities said there was no danger to the public. An investigation is underway involving the Roxbury Police Department, the Morris County District Attorney’s Office and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office.
