Real Madrid have confirmed, through a press release, the decision they took after of the urgent meeting of the Council after the meeting the prosecution’s complaint to Barça For the “Negreira affair”. The Madrid entity, chaired by Florentino Pérez, will appear in the case against the culé club.
After the relevant investigation, the prosecution decided to file a complaint against Barça, as well as against Josep María Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell, former presidents of the club, for payments over 7 million euros to Enríquez Negreira during the years 2001 to 2018.
At that time, Negreira was vice-president of the Technical Committee of Referees.
In addition to the aforementioned former presidents, the complaint is also addressed to the negreiraand former administrators Oscar Grau and Albert Soler.
