Miami-Dade police have launched an investigation to resolve what appears to be a kidnapping of a woman at Miami International Airport.

This possible kidnapping occurred last Monday night, when a man beat a woman, followed her path and then pushed her until she was forced to get into a vehicle parked nearby, all in view of several users of the terminal.

After speaking with witnesses, the police considered the circumstances of the event strange, so they have requested help from the community to identify the alleged kidnapper.

“The Airport District is seeking assistance in identifying / locating individuals involved in an incident at Miami International Airport, where a man forced a woman into a vehicle and drove off. Anyone with information should contact us ”, reads a publication shared on the Police’s Twitter account.

The tweet includes the images captured by security cameras, which show an African-American subject wearing a white shirt, dark-colored pants and white tennis shoes.

According to authorities, this man pushed the woman into his vehicle around 8:30 p.m. Monday, in Concourse J, outside on the second level.

The vehicle, used to carry out this hijacking, was identified as a 2014 silver Mazda Station Wagon, which bore Florida license plates QCJA81.

After the man forcibly removed the woman from the airport, the woman quickly drove away in the vehicle described by the police, with one of the doors open.

Now the police ask people who may have information about what happened at the airport, to contact the Crime Stoppers lines at 305-471-8477 or one of the detectives from the General Investigation Unit of the Airport of Miami-Dade at 305-876-7373.
