NEW YORK — A 52-year-old man walks his dog in the Upper East Side Before sunset a day ago, he was attacked by a motorcyclist and arrested for reckless driving, police said Wednesday.

The victim came out with his dog nearby East 90th Street there first avenue around 7 p.m. when he told NYPD officers he saw a green motorcycle speeding too fast, police said. The dog’s owner asked the motorcyclist to slow down, at which point the man approached the dog’s owner and punched him in the face several times with a clenched fist.

The dog’s owner fell to the ground amid the beating and police said the motorcyclist continued to punch him in the face before heading east. East 90th Street. The victim was taken to hospital and is expected to be fine.

No injuries to the dog were reported.
