North Las Vegas City Police are investigating the fatal collision between a pedestrian and two cars near MLK and Alexander streets.
According to the police statement, the victim, a man in his 30s, walked outside the designated pedestrian zone and was struck by a 2015 Toyota 4-Runner and moments later also by a Honda Civic 2012.
Officers near the scene heard the shocking noise and when they went to investigate they found the man’s body lying on the road.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the call, but despite their efforts to save his life, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two drivers of the vehicles involved in the incident remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation. Police do not believe speed or drunkenness were factors in this incident.
