If anything has been well known for many years, it’s that France has a brutal love for the manga and anime industry. More specificly, “One Piece” is the work that has most penetrated the hearts of French fans. For this reason, it is not at all strange that tributes can be paid to Luffy and company in the most unexpected moments… like a Champions League football match which is responsible for pitting PSG against Bayern Munich.

As you can see, the tifo showed Luffy using one of his ‘gomu gomu’ punches (next to the submachine gun on the other side) to break Bayern Munich’s shield… which ultimately didn’t give the team much of a chance, since lose home game 0-1. Let’s see, the memory isn’t going to be the best in the world, but at least they can be sure that very few clubs will have such incredible typhus in their stadiums like Luffy’s.
