Police arrested one person while searching for a second suspect who attempted to break into the car of an off-duty Miami-Dade Police Department officer at his home, police said. authorities.
The incident happened Friday morning at a location near the intersection of 152nd Street and 109th Avenue in Southwest County.
According to Miami-Dade police, the officer was able to arrest one person while the second escaped, but it is unknown at this time if they have been identified.
