A man was injured after a shooting that occurred Wednesday morning in an area of Brownsville, northwest of Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
Miami-Dade Police reported that officers from their department attended the 2100 block of 44th Street in northwest Miami-Dade in the Brownsville neighborhood around 6:00 a.m. after reports from the security system. ShotSpotter shot detection.
Police say an adult was found with at least one gunshot wound. The victim, who has not been identified, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
At the scene, a car with several gunshots could be seen, according to a report by NBC 6, the sister channel of Telemundo 51.
Police have not released any information about possible suspects or other details of the violent act.
