A vehicle crashed Tuesday afternoon into the Lilla Beauty salon located at 4250 12th Avenue in Hialeah.
The blue vehicle smashed the window and entered the premises where an employee was, who was uninjured despite being only inches from where the car was parked. The incident happened between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Marielkis Barrera, the employee who was about to be hit by the car, said that luckily there were no customers at the time. “Thank God it didn’t get worse, but it could have happened since this salon is always full of people, children (…) relatives of customers.”
Barrera pointed out that it was not the first time that something like this had happened in the commercial premises located in this square, he even said that something similar had already happened in this place a few years ago. .
“It was a really big scare because in the first chair there’s always a worker over there,” he said.
He is concerned that action is not taken in places that have parking spaces in front, especially because there is a nursery (daycare center) in this same place.
He added that in a restaurant in the area, this type of incident with cars happened at least three times.
As a result, no injuries were reported and no official report was made on the circumstances in which the accident occurred.
