Warner Bros. Discovery confirms the launch of the prequel based on Dunk and Egg
Game Of Thrones, the most successful series of all time I dare say, is still breaking out right now with La Maison du Dragon. This spin off, which functions as a prequel, will not be the only one. Even though I’ve already told you about the Game of Thrones spin-offs they’re working on Discovery of Warner Bros. there HBO Maxthis afternoon, coinciding with the presentation event of MAXa new project located in the world created by George RR Martin. How about an adaptation of the stories of Dunk and egg?
Who are Dunk and Egg and why are they important in Game of Thrones?
The bone Dunk and Egg Tales are a series of short novels written by George RR Martin and that they are part of the universe described in Song of Ice and Fire. Of course, these are prequels to the novels that are part of the main saga; i.e. they are defined before Game Of Thrones. These texts recount the adventures of Ser Duncan the Great (Dunk) and his squire Egg.
These are the stories on which the team named by Warner Bros. Discovery and MAX (formerly HBO Max) will team up to develop another Game of Thrones spin-off.. The surprising thing is that currently only three novels (or stories) have been published, but the plans are to publish between 6 and 12 more stories.
The three novels published to date are The wandering knight, the loyal sword there the mysterious knightbut being more or less independent stories, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a freer adaptation than the dragon house oh Game Of Thrones.
When was the Dunk and Egg-centric Game of Thrones prequel released?
George RR Martin You already said that you would like these stories of Soak there Egg (Duncan the Great there Egg) cover the entire lives of these characters. For now, We don’t have a release date for this series on MAX or HBO Max.so we’ll tell you something as soon as it’s known.
