SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A massive fire at an apartment complex in San Antonio was reported Thursday.

The burning structure is located at 4092 TPC Pkwy. Firefighting efforts are still ongoing.

Firefighters in San Antonio, Texas, are trying to put out a massive fire with little water. The frozen hydrants forced firefighters to travel through the water via containers and tanker trucks.

The Bexar-Bulverde Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire, which was reported at the Cortland View Apartment Complex around 1 p.m.

According to Merrell Waring, PIO of the Red Cross: 32 units are affected and 87 people are displaced.

The Red Cross is sending people to the Henry B. González Convention Center.

Financial assistance from the Red Cross is being provided to the displaced.
