This year marks the 60th anniversary of the X-Men, and Marvel is celebrating it with a virtual event. The virtual X-Men: 60 Uncanny Years Live event shines a light on the history and creative legacy of everyone’s favorite mutants.
Comic book fans will explore the X-Men’s humble beginnings as the Original Five through to the current age of Krakoan and everything in between. Although the event is free, you must be a member of Marvel Unlimited Annual or Annual Plus to attend.
Time flies really fast as you repeatedly save the world from multiple threats. It seems unbelievable that 60 years have passed since the X-Men debuted in September 1963. Yet here we are, and it’s time to celebrate the iconic group of superheroes.
60 Years of X-Men: When and Where
With Marvel’s The X-Men: 60 Uncanny Years Live Virtual Event, fans are in for a treat. Attendees will go behind the scenes with some of the biggest names in X-Men history on a journey through the history of the mutant genre. This includes exclusive live interviews, fan Q&As, giveaways, exclusive announcements and more.
Joining fans on this journey are some of the biggest names in X-Men history. Legendary designer Chris Claremont is joined by Walt and Louise Simonson, Rob Liefield, Marc Silvestri, Gerry Duggan, Jonathan Hickam and others.
Together, these people will accompany the annual members of Marvel Unlimited through 60 years of the X-Men. Additionally, special guests include Eric Lewald and Julia Lewald in X-Men: The Animated Series and Beau DeMayo from X-Men ’97. These guests will relive iconic moments from X-Men history and share some behind-the-scenes secrets.
