A suspect stabbed a man and a woman after they were allegedly hit by their car in an incident Friday morning in Miami, police said.
Authorities said the incident happened just before 8 a.m. near Northeast 3rd Court and 79th Street, near the Little River area.
Officers arrived at the scene after reporting a shooting, but at the scene they found two victims, a man and a woman in their 20s, suffering from stab wounds.
Both victims were taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, but the couple’s physical conditions have not been released until now.
According to the police, the couple hit a person with their car, then the person hit stabbed the two victims. Now the car’s passenger and driver are in hospital while the alleged hit-and-run has been arrested.
Footage from the scene showed a sedan crashed into a building with what appeared to be a broken windshield and blood splattered on the wall of the building and on a nearby sidewalk.
At this time, the incident is still under investigation, as authorities try to decipher the alleged confusion between the victims and those responsible for the violent acts.
