SkyShowtime has just debuted in Spain, presenting itself as an alternative to Netflix, HBO Max, Prime Video and HBO Max. In a market saturated with platforms, SkyShowtime debuted offerings such as Bosé, Yellowstone, Tulsa King and Halo. This last series had already been launched in the United States, but it remained one of the most anticipated in Spain, especially by video game fans.
Halo has finally officially arrived in our country (beyond its Blu-Ray edition), with its first full season. Although seen here via SkyShowtime, the series is Paramount+’s biggest ever blockbuster. Besides, It is one of the most acclaimed video game adaptations, along with The Last of Us. This success has meant that the second season of Halo has already been confirmed.
What do we know about Halo Season 2 on SkyShowtime?
Ahead of the Season 1 premiere, Paramount previously revealed that Halo would have a second installment, but didn’t have a specific date. The filming of the first season of the series took place in Hungary, and we know that its protagonist, Pablo Schreiber, returned to the country this summer. It is therefore quite possible that the filming of the new episodes has already begun.
If filming for Halo season 2 is already underway, then we can assume that its release date is in the middle of 2023. As for when it will be released in Spain, now that the series is part of the SkyShowtime catalog, it is quite possible that the launch in the United States and in our country will occur simultaneously. As is the case with The Last of Us and HBO Max.
