Fortunately, he can camouflage the deficiency commented on at times thanks to his speed. Good Premier League box to box (for now) if you’re not looking for a player
Due to the mentioned dribbling issue, I do not recommend Joelinton TOTS to anyone. It depends on the midfield profile you are looking for.since for some roles it is not very interesting.
If you want to use the typical playful midfield with an exquisite ride, I don’t recommend it.. His 89 total dribbles don’t represent how he moves on the pitch, he’s much rougher due to his height and because the game stats are so unbalanced.
I also wouldn’t recommend it if your top priority is security in your own domain.. In this case, we have more reliable midfielders due to the difference in defensive stats. Even in the Premier League, Rice TOTS would be more interesting for this role and its price is very low at the moment (in the general market it is only around 47,000 coins). Other than that, if you could spend more, Essien Icono Trophy Titans (around 212,000 coins) is a great option or Roy Keane’s SBC Icon Trophy Titans.
So when do I recommend Joelinton TOTS? Well, it’s an interesting free to play if you’re looking for someone acceptable but not exceptional in defense, that he is very good at launching into space but if at the same time his clumsiness in dribbling does not bother you.
He does not reach the remarkable neither behind nor with the ball, but he has reached the remarkable in both cases. And being Brazilian from the Premier League, he would fit into a lot of hybrids in FIFA 23, so I recommend him or not depending on what midfielder profile you’re looking for.
Yes now it is very useful, but it would not be strange if it soon lost a lot of value. Because if the same thing happens as in other years, it is likely that the general level will increase a lot and that many competitive midfielders will arrive. Although in Ultimate Team’s current situation, it’s a good card. I consider it one of the most interesting free to play to date.
