For Emilia —and contrary to what Chayanne may wonder—you don’t have to be a bullfighter to put your soul into the arena. The Argentine singer returned to our country to walk Las Ventas and give her Spanish fans an unforgettable show, in which she promised many surprises and several guests.
Taking advantage of his visit to the capital, we organized a very special meeting at LOS40 to ask him about his next recording project after Do you believe in me?; take stock of the collaborations he launched last year; and learn a little more about his passion for fashion, a facet very present in his daily life as an artist.
The inspiration behind his second album
Emilia’s future album will focus on “90s and 2000s music, which is the music that has inspired me all my life, the one I grew up listening to”. “I experiment and get out of my comfort zone to offer the public something different and artistically show that I can be versatile; singing, rapping and doing various genres that I also feel comfortable in,” she added.
The young woman confessed that she does not yet have a publication date set on the calendar for this new work, because the main thing for her is to have fun during the process without rushing but without a break. “I don’t feel any pressure. For me, music should be enjoyable, a means of expression and storytelling. I really want to think about the concept, but the idea is to launch it this year“, he commented.
Their dream collaboration and possible Bzrp Music Sessions
These last months, Emilia has joined several collaborations: who of the two, with Miranda! Or your memory, with Wisin and Lyanno, among others. With his participation in these two, he realized a real dream and it was an honor. The first allowed her to give a second life to a ballad that she has loved since childhood, by an artist who marked her childhood; and the second signified a before and after in his career.
“Bizarrap changed the scene and I hope one day it can happen (his Bzrp music sessions), but it’s not something I’m looking for. If it happens, I would love it. I appreciate his accomplishments, his friendship and his success, of course,” his eventual topic with Biza clarified.
Although he sees it from afar, he with The one that Emilia dreams of at the moment par excellence is “La Rosalía, it takes my breath away. It’s on another level, but I feel like the music has changed. I admire him too much and I hope that one day it can come true.”
