Slowly but surely. That’s how it works Ellie Goulding in all aspects related to his new recording project: higher than the sky. After composing, creating, recording, mixing and producing her new songs, the performer postponed her album for ecological reasons until April 7, and almost without breathing, she announced the first concerts of her next tour.
The Briton will kick off her Higher than Heaven tour in Europe in October, although tickets for her shows can be purchased from next week, as she confirmed via her social media channels where she made the announcement.
“Finally! The Higher Than Heaven tour is underway AND we’ll be visiting even more places. Book any Higher Than Heaven format on my official store by Monday April 3rd at 5:00 PM BST to get pre-sale access. Presale starts Tuesday April 4th at 9am BST + general sale starts Thursday April 6th at 9am BST,” the performer confirmed.
“As you know, touring plays a crucial role in my work – I love communicating with you and it brings me the greatest joy… But I’m also very aware of the damage touring does to our planet. I love the ecological achievements of “The Brightest Blue Tour but this time I will be even more ambitious. I look forward to seeing you all. Sending you lots of love, Ellie,” Ellie Goulding concludes.
Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Paris, Utrecht, Brussels, Milan, Cologne and Berlin are the first stages of his European tour. At the moment the artist has not confirmed any date in Spain, so we will have to keep waiting to enjoy the songs included in Higher than Heaven live.
Ellie Goulding’s fifth studio album has a powerful combination of pop and electronic sounds, as evidenced by all the songs that served as the LP’s calling card. In recent months we have heard new songs from the English singer such as Like a savior, Give me everything, Easy lover (junto a Big Sean) o Let it die, although at the moment it has not been confirmed that all these songs will be part of his new studio album.
Ellie Goulding has been working on her new musical project, the fifth studio album of her career, for over a year and over the past few months she’s been dropping us little pills on what we can expect and At the end of the night is the last visiting card
More than two years have passed since the release of Brightest Blue, this double album in which Ellie Goulding showed two very different musical facets: that of her ballads and that of her more electronic sound. And everything indicates that in this work we will evolve under the protection of the second.
