Unfortunately for the Spanish public, the Briton has complied with what he told us in his last interview on LOS40 and that is that until 2024 he will not be offering any concerts in our country. Thus, Spanish fans who wish to enjoy the songs of his new studio album before its release on May 5 will have the opportunity to see him at Manchester, London, Glasgow, Dublin or Paris.
“Hello everyone in the UK and Europe. Basically I’m back and doing a bunch of shows to showcase the new Subtract songs. These will be the only shows I’m doing this year in Europe in 2023. If you want to book your tickets, keep an eye on my site, book To subtract and see you very soon”, assured the interpreter via his official profile on Instagram.
To this handful of concerts on these 3 continents must be added more than twenty dates on American soil which will surely multiply in the coming weeks. America is already waiting for Ed Sheeran with open arms for a tour that kicks off in May and has confirmed shows through September.
Ed Sheeran’s Subtract Era
Ed Sheeran has confirmed nearly every detail of his highly anticipated new record project. The musician has announced that Substract will be the closing of his first musical pentalogy (he has already announced that he will do another saga but with non-mathematical signs) and that the album will be released on May 5.
There will be 14 songs that will be part of this new studio album (18 in the deluxe edition), the seventh of his career, and which will take over from his previous four digital works: (Plus, 2011), x (Multiply, 2014), ÷ (Divide, 2017) y = (Equal, 2021).
– (Substract) will see the light of day and it will be the icing on the cake of his first decade as a world-class artist. An LP that he conceived as a collection of acoustic songs, a situation that would have shortened the periods of recording and musical mixing. Indeed, he has already confirmed that his new songs will sound on his already announced world tour and that he will pass by Spain in 2024 to present his new album as part of his The Mathematics Tour.
