As Toei Animation continues to plague us with the lack of news on future projects of dragonballat least hardcore fans of Akira Toriyama’s work have the opportunity to appreciate the beautiful initiative of commemorative blankets. What it is about? Well, basically every month we share a redesign of one of the original covers of the series made by a renowned mangaka, and all that for the 40th anniversary of the work.

This week we were able to take a look at the work of Demizu Posuka, the author of The Promised Neverlandwhich reworked cover number 22 of Dragon Ball. The next illustration will not arrive until the end of March, but at least we already know which artist will be in charge of showing us his tribute to Goku’s adventure.

Going back to what I said in the first paragraph, today We still don’t get any news on the future of Dragon Ball as it relates to the anime. According to insiders specializing in this series, Toei Animation has been working on not one, but two different projects of the work for some time. However, at the moment we still have no official confirmation and no indication that an announcement will be made soon.

What would you like to see? Many will want the sequel to Super, although many others may prefer to see a remake of the early Dragon Ball sagas…
