Orlando Florida. – The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts potential for severe storms for central Florida.
The showers are due to a cold front moving southeast across east-central Florida on Monday.
The main threats along with the strongest storms will be wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph, heavy showers and some lightning. In addition, the NWS indicates that “one or two brief tornadoes this morning towards the north” could form as well as a “large hail this afternoon towards the south”.
